This is a film, about seven minutes long, reportedly taken in 1908 from the front of a streetcar in Barcelona:

It's similar to the one taken along Market Street in San Francisco that was widely publicised a few months ago (but maybe not here?). It's fun to see how formally everybody was dressed and how many people were relying upon bicycles for transport-- very few automobiles to be seen. What's astounding to me is how blythely cyclists cross the tracks, even just in front of the oncoming streetcar. Was life cheaper back then, or?

And at 5:08, notice the gentleman in modern dress snapping a photo with what looks like a 5G or 6G iPhone. From this, we learn that time travel will be invented soon, and that skinny jeans will still be in fashion in a few years.
