PBMVC will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, July 27, at 5:00 PM in Rm 260 of the
Municipal Bldg.

C.1. Is fairly routine, acquiring land for a road project on Packers Ave.

C. 2 - Informational presentation on the approval process for transportation
related projects and which committees/commissions are involved in the
process.

This would be of interest to those that wonder how decisions are made on
various types of transportations projects, ranging from multi-use paths,
bike boxes, big roads, resurfacing projects, traffic signals, etc. This item
was requested, because a commission member wanted to know who reviewed or
voted on different types of projects.

C.3. Consideration of an all-way stop sign at the intersection of Franklin
Ave and Kendall Ave.

This is the same intersection where there is currently a restriction on
motorized traffic continuing east, from Bluff St to Kendall.

C.4. - Plans for trial reversal of one-way Oakland Ave from Monroe St to
Madison St, and the provision of two-way bicycle movement.

This is the north-south street just south of the intersection of Crazy Legs,
the SW Path, and Monroe St.

C.5. - Discussion and prioritization of pedestrian/bicycle projects for the
2011-2013 capital budget

Which projects are a priority for the next couple of years? Not the same as
the public hearing we hold each year to get a list of projects that need to
be built. This is a summary of all the projects we heard about at that
public hearing.

D.1. - Platinum Report update and presentation on current and future
initiatives

Included in the discussion are changes to the Zoning ordinance related to
bicycle parking and a list of projects that have been completed or are in
progress.

Please see the link above if you would like more information on any of these
items or to view the attached materials associated with the item.
