Hello bikies:

Alder Maniaci, District 2, notes that she had not known of the bike lane
blockage, and thus was unable to address the issue. While I'm at it, I'm
copying Mike Verveer, District 4. A somewhat less permanent blockage of
the same bike lane appears a few blocks to the west, where a spool of
thick cable was being unloaded last I looked. It was at a particularly
dangerous spot; just where Johnson bends so visibility is limited and
bicyclists pushed into the traffic lane could be in grave danger.

Al Matano

Hi Al,
I was forwarded part of the thread that's been going on regarding E
Johnson and Blair Street. It's the first I've heard of issues regarding
the bike lane. If no one contacts me to let me know they're having
issues, I can't work on solving it. The concerns that Marsha's constituent
raised to her were not passed along to me. I work hard to be an engaged,
active alder for my neighborhood. Please let me know if there's something in
my neighborhood I can assist you with.
Thanks,
Alder Bridget Maniaci
