Hi Tim. I somehow doubt that ATC monitors the Bikies or SASYNA listservs or that the mayor is going to directly respond to your inquiry about the work on East Wash. However, if you check with ATC directly, you will get this helpful piece of information:
"Bike Lane Closure – “Bike Lane Closed Ahead” signs, set up bike detour for inbound bicycles (E. Washington right onto N. Baldwin, left onto E. Mifflin, left onto N. Paterson, and right onto E. Washington). In addition our traffic plan calls for placement of a “Share the Road” sign past the detour at Baldwin for bicyclists who fail to use/see the detoured route." Given your preference for sharing the traffic lane on Williamson, I am sure the "share the road" accommodations will suit you fine! Have a great day!
