I live on SW path and was impressed to see that is was PLOWED early this
morning, even on a Saturday and our first snowfall. Snow continued to fall so
it may have become somewhat "snowcovered" before the snow stopped, but there
are bikers, walkers, and joggers that seem pretty happy.

I forwarded your message to Al Schumacher, Street Superintendent and "Snow

Boss". As I recall, the East Isthmus is plowed by Parks who may not be

working OT this weekend. Let's find out.

We walked to the market this morning. Took the Isthmus path from Ingersoll

to Blair; it

was unplowed. Walked the Lake/Isthmus path from Monona Terrace to Blair on

the return

trip; also unplowed. John Nolen had been plowed, and much of that snow was

on the path,

so it would probably be better that the path is done after the road. OT side

note - there

was a water ski show going on.
