I elected to pass on the bus and take my chances on the path. Did not
ride my studded tire bike. Prefer to ride the wide 650B wheeled machine
which has great purchase on the packed snow.
SW Path from Glenway to Regent was fine -packed but not icy. Through
Campus, a bit bumpy due to foot traffic but good. the rest of the way
was fine too. Saw a couple snow machines at work near Virgina Terrace.
If one of my pulley wheels hadn't fallen out behind Monona Terrace, it
would've have been one of the best ride days of winter. As it was it was
a nice day to walk to work out by Atwood. There is more light, the air
is changing, spring is coming.
