Hello Bikies, The UW Cycling Club will once again be hosting Collegiate Nationals in Madison, Friday, May 6 - Sunday, May 8th. Volunteers are needed to put on this great event. Please consider signing up for a shift. See below for details from club President, Ken Huxtable:
Greetings!! As April is on the horizon, the Cycling Team at the University of Wisconsin - Madison is preparing for its last three regular season races before the collegiate nationals road race. But, preparations are not only happening on the bike. We are also in the midst of finalizing the details for the 2011 USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships. That's right, we're hosting Nationals for the second year in a row! Signing up to volunteer is super easy. In fact, it takes only one (1) easy step: Step 1: Visit http://nationals.uwcycling.org and fill out the form under the volunteer tab. Done! Once registered, you will receive a couple reminder e-mails as the event draws near. 2011 Schedule (specific volunteer times can be found on the online form): Friday, May 6 - Road Race (Blue Mound State Park) Saturday, May 7 - Team Time Trial (Waterloo, WI) Sunday, May 8 - Criterium (Capitol Square) Thank you very, very much to all of you for your help.
