Bike Walk Madison, in coordination with the Madison Police Department and Planet Bike, is looking for volunteers to help with a bike safety project next week. If you would like to help, please email me directly.
The exact date and location are being kept under wraps to the general public for the moment, but I will communicate with willing volunteers on details. (It is also partly weather dependent, so we may need to do a quick switch if rain is in the forecast.) The location will be very bike-friendly, so you can count on being able to get there, if that is a concern. We would need people around dusk, so about 8 PM at this time of year. If you would like to help out, please email me. In order to coordinate people, if you can also send me your availability next week around dusk, and a cell phone (if you have it), that would be great.
