Dear Friends,
*
*It's time to gear up for a host of different volunteer opportunities* *in
the Madison area! With so much going on in the next month, we need your
help and support more than ever. Please take a moment to review the
different volunteer opportunities below and consider how you can help us
out. Luckily, all of the volunteer opportunities will be tons of fun so I'm
sure you'll find a great fit for both your interests and your availability.

   - *Urban Assault Ride <http://www.urbanassaultride.com/> - Sunday, May
15th*. The Urban Assault Ride, the nation's largest obstacle adventure
race, is coming to Madison on May 15, 2011. Volunteer opportunities include
Checkpoint Managers and Volunteers that will be stationed in Downtown
Madison as well as Venue Volunteers working at the start/finish and party
area at Olin Park. All volunteers receive an event t-shirt, food and (if
over 21), beer from New Belgium Brewing Company.

To sign up, Wisconsin Bike Federation Volunteers can follow a special
link: http://urbanassaultride.com/madison/volunteer/npo. When signing up,
please make sure to select the Wisconsin Bike Federation from the drop down
menu so that we can track how many members come from the Bike Fed.

   - *Fed Friends Night - Thursday, May 19th*, 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the Bike
Fed's Madison office, 106 E Doty St., Suite 400. Come one, come all to the
fun monthly mailing and friends night! As usual, we'll share dinner and
some biking adventure stories while we work together to complete a
renewal mailing. Please RSVP to me so I know how much food to order.

   - *Ride the Drive<http://www.cityofmadison.com/transportation/ridethedrive/>
   * - *Sunday, June 5th*, two shifts available: 10 am - 1 pm, 1 - 4 pm.
Help us talk to people about the Bike Fed's work to move bicycling forward
at this fun car-free, care free event! Free volunteer t-shirts will be
   provided.

   - *cLips of Faith Beer & Film Festival *
<http://www.clipsoffaith.com/>-*Friday, June 10th

email Betsy Popelka ([email protected]) as soon as possible so she can
send you more information. With so many volunteer positions to fill, we
really need your support in order to make every one of these events a
