I'll be holding down a table at Marquette Waterfront Fest Sat June 11th
for Wheels for Winners.
We'll be answering questions about the program (and maybe even
recruiting some volunteer 'wrenchers'?)
We are also offering a raffle for a pair of new-ish Schwinn hybrid bikes.
Raffle Tix are a buck a piece so you'll have to buy at least TEN of them!
You'll get a chance to win a cool bike for yourself or a friend or
family member BUT more importantly
you'll get a 100 PERCENT CHANCE to help out this great earn-a-bike
organization that has been
encouraging kids to engage in volunteering and community service. In
exchange for there volunteer hours they get a refurbished
bike, city license, new safety helmet and lock. We're 100% volunteer,
100% non-profit funded by donations - since 1992! So help us keep the
momentum
going and help kids discover the reward of community service and the
freedom of cycling.
