City of Fitchburg's 2011 Bike Rodeo is this Saturday, July 30
Location: McKee Farms Park, Parking lot in front of Kids Crossing playground
Time: 12:30 pm Bike Parade; 1 – 3 pm Bike Rodeo
Pre-registration is encouraged (but not required) and is available
through our Recreation Department: www.city.fitchburg.wi.us/recreation

be available.
Don’t miss this free, fun event in Fitchburg. Fitchburg Police
Department is hosting its annual Crime Prevention Picnic at McKee Farms
Park. New this year is a bike rodeo; a great activity for kids, and
parents, to learn safe bicycling skills. The fun kicks off at 12:30 pm
as bikes are invited to parade down the street with the line-up of
police and fire vehicles. To join the parade, plan to meet near the
Brian Lane and Wilshire Drive intersection at 12:30. Don’t forget your
helmet!!
Following the parade, ride on over to the Bike Rodeo where you can test
your skills at the Snake Alley Slalom and Rock Dodge obstacles! Get a
free safety check of your bike and helmet from local experts. Learn
important safety skills at Eagle Eyes, Crazy Crossroads, and Who’s on
Your Tail. There will be prizes, give-aways, and a bouncy slide!
