How about handing out a one-pager, and having someone knowledgeable to speak,
on rules of the road, both for motorists and cyclists. Include rules on where
bikes can and can't ride, dooring, required passing margins, sidewalk riding,
etc.

Also how about a display of lighting systems, including generator-driven ones.
Possibly this is what the "Be Bright" display is, but if memory serves, that's
more of a pitch to have lights, not a display of different lighting options.

Subject: [Bikies] Ideas for a Safety Area at Ride The Drive

Hey Everyone,

Bike Fed is hosting a bicycle safety area at Ride The Drive on the 25th. We
have secured the Monona Terrace Tunnel and so far we've confirmed the following
partners and activities:

        * Share & Be Aware video PSA projected on the tunnel wall
        * Share & Be Aware safety tips yard signs leading up to the tunnel
        * 20by2020 Pledge and information
        * City of Madison Be Bright light display in tunnel
        * Madison Metro bike racks on buses display Does anyone have any good
ideas for bicycle-safety related activities that we could offer either inside
or outside the tunnel? Any suggestions for other groups to contact?

Thanks,
Amanda
