Friends of the Capital City Bike Trail, join us at the 7th Annual Harvest
Moon Festival this Friday, October 7, 6:00-9:00 at the Lussier Family
Heritage Center. It is the big fundraising event for the Friends of the
Capital Springs Recreation Area, the largest urban park in Wisconsin (2,500
acres) and includes the Capital City Trail, new Cannonball Trail, and future
Lower Yahara River Trail. Admission to this family friendly event with
educational programs for kids 4-12 is only $4. Live owls, bats, lizards on
display with bonfire and bluegrass music. Chili and hot dogs are available
for purchase. The Silent Auction has incredible items, including sports
memoribilia from UW hockey and a luxury box at Kohl Center for Womens
Hockey. All proceeds are used to support improvements in the park, bike
trails, and water trails. It is going to be a great evening too! For more
