Hello Friends,

I don't recall seeing this posted yet. My apologies if this is a double
post.

The City is holding a second public hearing on the Judge Doyle Square
redevelopment. This public meeting will review a number of items including
streetscape and the bike station. You will also have an opportunity to
provide feedback.

Tuesday, Nov. 8
7 - 9 pm
Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room

I'm encouraging bicyclists to attend this hearing. In general, it's
important that we attend not only to show support for the bike station
(which I have concerns may not be as robust as we would like) but to also
speak in support of:

1. Much improved bike accommodations surrounding the redevelopment,
especially on E Wilson and E Doty. There have been numerous complaints by
both bicyclists and condo owners alike regarding the lack of bicycling
facilities
2. Any amenities that you think should be included in the bike station.

*The Bike Fed will be submitting comments and recommendations for street
scape improvements and the bike station. I'd like to hear from Bike Fed
members on comments or recommendations you may have. Please respond to this
post or email [email protected] by this Thursday so I can ensure that
our feedback to the city represents our members comments/concerns.*

Thank you!
Amanda
