Thanks to everyone that participated in the bike center survey for Judge Doyle Square. Bikies might also be interested in attending the second public meeting, happening this coming *Tuesday, November 8, 7-9 pm at the Madison Senior Center*, 330 W. Mifflin, second floor conference room. Agenda here: http://www.cityofmadison.com/planning/judgeDoyleSquare/documents/PublicMeeting2.pdf
Judge Doyle Square is the name for the redevelopment that will occur on the Government East parking ramp (next to the Great Dane on Doty St.) and the half of the Municipal Bldg lot that is currently two surface parking lots. One possible component of the redevelopment is a "bike center." This project will contain some combination of the following: public parking, a new hotel, retail, restaurants, bike center, city offices, private offices, and housing. There will likely be a significant portion that would have public amenities, so we should all be interested and involved in what is built and how it will look and operate. More information on the full project can be found here: http://www.cityofmadison.com/planning/judgeDoyleSquare/ Robbie Webber
