Or both - we got 2 beautiful bike racks at work recently but ...
designed to hold bikes from both sides, they were put up close to a
wall, so there goes half the slots.  Designed for a specific type of
bike or something, both my bikes tip over in the rack. And if you do
get a bike locked in, it sticks out covering about half the pedestrian
passage which forces them out into the 'decorative' planters.

Beautiful design though.
