Subject: Bike Chicago's Lake Shore Drive with PFB

Dear Andy,

Kick off your Chicago summer with a car-free bike ride down world-famous
Lake Shore Drive on May 27, 2011, for the eleventh annual MB Financial
Bank Bike
the
Drive<http://peopleforbikes.org/page/m/67f21f72/3a93480c/241a365/3af389be/889677468/VEsE/>.
This amazing bike ride is a fundraiser for the Active Transportation
Alliance<http://peopleforbikes.org/page/m/67f21f72/3a93480c/241a365/3af389bf/889677468/VEsF/>,
Chicagoland’s voice for better biking, walking, and transit.

This year, a 30-minute time extension means riders will have even more time
to enjoy great views of the Chicago skyline and lakefront on the one day of
the year when only bikes are allowed on Lake Shore Drive. What better way
to enjoy a spring day?

Last year at Bike the Drive, nearly 1,000 people signed the
PeopleForBikes.org pledge in just a few hours. We hope to double that this
year. Come check out our booth at the festival, grab a free button and
other fun swag to show your support, and bring your friends to sign the
pledge. Want to volunteer at our booth? Send us an
email<[email protected]?subject=Volunteer%20for%20Bike%20the%20Drive%20Chicago>
!

Registration includes an event T-shirt, as well as access to the post-ride
festival and rest stops. Find out more information at
