1. SW Bike Path Lighting Hearing TOMORROW (Thurs) There's been a wonderful, spirited debate among list serve members regarding lighting on the SW Path. While I can appreciate both sides of the argument, the Bike Fed fully supports path lighting. If you want lighting on the path, it's critical that you attend the public meeting tomorrow.* If we don't have a strong numbers of supporters attend, we will not receive the lighting*. It's that simple. Bike Fed Job Opening Bike Fed is pleased to be partnering with UW-Transportation Services once again this year to offer FREE bike valet parking at all UW Football home games this season. We're looking for an organized, bike-loving, team player to manage, coordinate, and attend all 7 bike valet events. While this position is only 10 hours per week, it is possible that there will be other work for her/him to do at the Bike Fed or that this job position could grow in the future. This is a fun opportunity to connect with the bicycling community and the Bike Fed.
