Another reminder that if you have an opinion, one way or the other about
lighting on the SW Path, you should make sure to post those comment
officially on the City website set up for that purpose. Not all the alders
or other decision-makers read Bikies. (Although you'd be surprised how many
do - even those that don't bike.)

And just in case anyone thinks this is just an issue confined to the SW
Path, Madison and Fitchburg are deciding whether to light the Cannonball
Path as well:

My point being that the decision on the SW Path could affect areas and
corridors well beyond the neighborhoods and commuters along that one path.
