And just in case anyone thinks this is just an issue confined to the SW Path, Madison and Fitchburg are deciding whether to light the Cannonball Path as well: http://www.cityofmadison.com/bikeMadison/planning/project.cfm?id=13 My point being that the decision on the SW Path could affect areas and corridors well beyond the neighborhoods and commuters along that one path.
