As many of you know, the 26th Annual Great Taste of the Midwest is at
Olin-Turville Park this weekend and most of the park is reserved for the
festival.

"No Parking" signs are already up along the park roadways. Boat launch
access remains open. One change to regular traffic patterns of interest to
bicyclists is that the gated portion of the frontage road WILL be open
(one-way) to restricted motor vehicle traffic--exhibitors, staff, shuttle
buses, taxis, and emergency vehicles. (Festival-goers and the general
public will NOT be allowed use of the roadway or parking.)

Bicycle access is preserved, but bicyclists should be aware that they will
not have the exclusive use they enjoy when the gates are closed to exclude
motor vehicles, and simply need to be attentive to the shared vehicle
traffic, as they would on regular city streets. Bicyclists coming off the
nearby path should also be attentive to festival traffic

Cones will be placed on Saturday to mark a bicycle lane through the area,
