I have suggested for a warning light system there since we moved here in
'03...have had on several occassions people screaming up that hill at 40mph
just miss me and other crossing pedestrians..really bad sight lines until
you're right on top of it if heading up the hill in a car..and speeding just
makes it worse...the opposite direction the speeding is pretty bad too of course
Hope no one is hurt bad.

Subject: [Bikies] SUV crash at SW bikepath approx 8:15am
A driver lost control of a large white SUV near the intersection of Glenway
St. and Glen Ave. near the intersection with the SW bikepath. The SUV came to a
stop when it hit a bobcat loader. The SUV was on top of a large pile of gravel
fill. I am hoping nobody is injured. Several ambulances on the scene. Looks
like city workers / contractors are doing maintenance (or widening the
path?) on the SW Commuter Bike Path.
