Got this [message forwarded below] on my neighborhood listserv. I thought
some on this list might find it interesting to weigh in.

I don't want to bias your answers, but I did find a few of the questions
hard to answer, because they asked how close you wanted some things to be,
and they jumped from "walking distance" to "within a 10 minute drive." I
generally think of things as how far it takes to bike, or whether there is
a bus available, so I had to think whether I considered certain things
"walking distance" or .....?
