I'm again asking for help with an event to get bicyclists to use lights at night. Tomorrow (Thursday), 6:15 PM. We'll probably be done before 8:00 PM, but even if you can only stay for an hour, any time you can give would be a big help.
No skills or previous experience needed, and friends and family are welcome. Many hands make light work. [pun intended] This is the second event of the Be Bright campaign this fall. Last week the UWPD stopped 50 bicyclists that didn't have lights, and we installed lights on their bikes. We will be in a different location this time. We don't publicize the exact location ahead of time, but it will be on the eastern end of campus. If you want to help, we could use some extra hands.
