Subject: [Bay Creek] Burglary
Dear Neighbors,
I am saddened to report that on the weekend of Dec. 15, probably during the
night someone went into my garage and ransacked my car looking for valuables
and money, and stole my $1400 Lemond bike model Alpe d'huez. I live on Emerson
Street. I was at home at the time....sleeping. My garage was closed up. But,
one of the locks was not locked. I filed a police report.
I am posting this for two reasons:
One, is to alert others to keep their bulidngs and possessions locked up as
someone may be cruising the neighborhood to commit "a crime of opportunity."
Two, is to ask you to keep your eyes open for my bike in case it is still in
our neighborhood. It is not a common color silver with orange markings and
lettering with black handlbar tape. I have my old Avocet racing seat on the
bike and old Suntour pedals with toe clips and Shimano components. I have my
serial number.
