Exactly why I moved to Fitchburg after living 20 years in rural Iowa County. East of Syene Road there's a huge parcel of land slated for development. Nothing's actually been built yet, but the major roads are already in and those roads were built bike-friendly with bike lanes and round-about mitigation already in place. That's the way to do it.
