I just got off the phone with John. After his initial diatribe we actually talked.
Among other things, he said his business has been down ever since bike lanes were put on Fordem. I questioned that since Fordem was always two-lane. I said perhaps the fact that the mural on the side of the building has deteriorated badly in the last two years and his sign needs work, it looks like he is not open or barely open at best. He actually said I had a point. John said he will have something in the Isthmus next week - let's wait and see. Mike Rewey p.s. He no longer owns the Monroe Street NOTO. . -------------------------------------------------- On 21 Mar 2013 at 14:41, Michael Rewey wrote: The number has been on my cell phone for years... Perhaps the owner needs to know how the rest of the community feels about banning a customer that has been eating there for 25 years because she supports improved access for those not in cars. I am sorely disappointed. Apparently, he claims that Marsha is the only alder that frequented his restaurant, so she is the only alder that has been banned. http://www.thedailypage.com/isthmus/article.php?article=39435#.UUsYi9-abf0.twitter Robbie Webber Transportation Policy Analyst State Smart Transportation Initiative www.ssti.us 608-263-9984 (o) 608-225-0002 (c) [email protected] _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org
