I want to emphasize that Madison Traffic Engineering did indeed meet with
staff from MB to talk to them about the project long before the vote at
Council. Obviously, if Madison wasn't going to pass the project, there was
no need to go into an intensive public process in MB.

Whether the Village staff communicated with residents is unknown and not
the responsibility of the City staff.
