The connecting path between the Southwest Path and the west end of Hammersley
Road on the north side of Beltline Highway will be closed for approximately 6
weeks beginning around August 5th. This is necessary for the construction of a
storm water detention pond, which is part of the Wisconsin Department of
Transportation's (DOT) reconstruction of the Beltline / Verona Road interchange.

The main Southwest path, including the bridge over the Beltline, will remain
open throughout the construction. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please
use care in the vicinity of the construction.
