1. It's not going to work in a metal seat tube, which makes a dandy faraday cage. Try the underside of a seat. 2. Android 4.3 landed about a week ago. A key feature is low-power bluetooth, which is what this device requires. It will be a while before 4.3 is pervasive- so far just for Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 devices. But it will also be a whle before the Tiles ship.
OAN, I worry a little about this system. It might be the world's largest lost and found, but it may also become the world's easiest stalking and location surveillance tool.
