As Arthur noted previously, the Hammersley connector to the SouthWest
Path is close for SIX WEEKS. bummer. The DOT is using this area to
handle the runoff from the vast areas of impermeable surfaces they are
creating.
The signs say that Seminole Highway will be closed at the Beltline
bridge starting Aug. 15 (?). The Whenona Way bridge due West from
there is a good detour.
At some point they will probably close the SouthWest path where it
goes under Verona Road. Afterwards, we'll get to share the narrow
underpass with impatient motorists who are trying to avoid the Verona
Road construction.

all for the low, low price of $175 Million, and counting.
For at least 15 years, sensible people have been making all kinds of
sensible suggestions to improve transportation in the region, but
those were rejected because they were 'expensive'.
