I read a couple of comments about UPS trucks (and buses) stopped in the bike lane on North Sherman. Let's not get too hung up too much on that. UPS trucks and buses have stopped in a live car lane for more than 20 years on North Sherman. We're just getting the same equal treatment.
I am grateful that after an 18 year fight (yes 18 years!) we even have bike lanes. For now let's work on making the physical conditions in the bike lanes better - such as the bad manhole someone mentioned. Thanks Mike Rewey - northsider
