The fate of Law Park and Wilson St and the existing connections between the
two (including the intersections of John Nolen with North Shore, Broom St,
and Wilson/Williamson Streets (and proposed future connections over the RR
tracks at other locations), as well as proposed sites for an intermodal
transit center (which at this point would mostly connect intercity bus
service with local transportation modes, including walking, bicycling, and
Madison Metro) will be discussed on September 5, 2013, from 6-9pm at the
Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin St.

This is a public workshop (the second public information meeting) of the
South Capitol Transit Oriented Development (SCTOD) Planning District
committee (formerly known as Judge Doyle Square II).

See the city's website for more information:
http://www.cityofmadison.com/dpced/planning/southcapitol/

Most of the work of the SCTOD planning committee thus far has been to help
the consultant prepare for this public workshop (and the first public meeting
held back in June). Nothing is set in stone - the point of this public
workshop is to get input from the public and especially from stakeholders
like you. As always, I'm sure the city will accept comments via email (See
the city's website for more information:
http://www.cityofmadison.com/dpced/planning/southcapitol/ ), but there's
really no better way to make your voice heard than to show up at the public
workshop, the point of which is to hear the public's voices (and of course to
better explain with lots of visual aids exactly what everyone is talking
about), so if you have lots of questions - the best way to get answers to
them is to go to the public workshop).
