Just got this from Jessica at Bike Fed:

Bicycling: Past, Present, and Future

When Susan B. Anthony claimed the bicycle did more to emancipate women than
anything else in the world, what did she mean? This 4-part course examines
the dramatic and often-contested history of bicycling. It investigates the
sport's origins in 19th century Europe before examining its broader
presence both here in Wisconsin and as an enduring 21st century global
phenomenon.
