Sorry, these sorts of links/emails are the price of the internet (for now)
- the original poster (or, possibly, somebody who had the original poster
in their address book) has had their account breached. The spammers then
send a msg like that to everybody the account has access to, sometimes
actually using the msgs in the in-box to generate more spam victims. This
list sees 2-4 of these a year? but the worst is you can't really stop it.
As an InterTubes user, you just need to be come more cautious. In this
case, a msg from somebody you don't know, with a bare link and no
explanation (though they will say things like "here's that link I told you
about!" or "You won't believe this!" and a rather complicated look to it
are well worth ignoring. If it weren't to the list, but one of your own
address book folks, you should send a msg to them (directly, don't use
reply-to) and ask if they sent you a link or an attachment.

In general, if you don't expect it, don't click on it - this goes double
for banks/insurance/UPS/FedEx/European Microsoft Internet Lottery winnings
and those oddly named people who want you to SMS their phones so they can
send you their pictures.

Sorry.
