I don't have any info on this, but I was just thinking about posting a question re: possible trend of cars crowding bike lanes. Commuting down Gorham towards State St. this am I had to deal with two smallish cars who felt they needed to drive (or idle, as traffic would have it) with both right wheels fully in the bike lane. (No impending right turn involved as far as I could see.) I lost patience on the second one and did the old "rap the knuckles on the right rear window" trick to alert them as to their transgression. I hope I didn't give the driver a heart attack.* So, that accident wasn't me, but the next one might be.
