Just got the following message [below] from my alder. I have no more
information than what is included.

I have included links to the maps.

Sunday morning (June 28) and early afternoon there will be a half-marathon
run partially on the UW Lakeshore Path and Campus Dr Path. Although the
info say that no city streets will be fully closed, it would seem that this
would impact traffic on the paths.

There is a 5K run farther west -- west of Midvale -- but that appears to be
all on streets.

*Subject:* *Fwd: Her Madison Half Marathon & 5k Approved Permit*

Please find the attached approved City of Madison Street Use Permit for the
inaugural DreamBank Her Madison Half Marathon and 5K, which utilizes
portions of District 5. The event will take place onSunday, June 28, 2015,
during the hours of 7am - 11am. This route does not fully close any city
streets. Observatory is closed east bound from Walnut Street to Park St,
per UW Police.

All residents will be notified by end of day June 26. We acknowledge that
the notification time frame is short, however we just received final course
approval from additional municipalities (Village of Shorewood Hills
and University of Wisconsin) last week. Should the event take place next
year, resident notification will be completed much farther in advance.

Please review the attached course routes for the Half Marathon & 5K.
Please contact me at any time if you have any questions. You can reach me
directly at 608-609-5379.
Best Regards,

Jen Anderson
Director of Operations
Capitol View Events
