Good morning, We have great news to share!! The new pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Beltline, near Verona Road (US 18/151) and Seminole Highway, is now OPEN! Final restoration and landscaping work will occur in this area over the next few weeks, so please continue to be alert for crews and equipment. Note: You will need to zoom in to see details. - Temporary Verona Road exit from the eastbound Beltline <http://lists.wi.gov/t/1065872/2896899/7472/12/>. *Verona Road and Frontage Roads* *East Beltline Frontage Road, Whenona Drive, Warwick Way and Midvale Boulevard* - Updated: Nightly lane closures <http://lists.wi.gov/t/1065872/2896899/7473/13/> on Verona Road northbound and southbound, near the Beltline interchange. - East Frontage Road, between Britta Parkway and Whenona Drive, CLOSED to through traffic until mid-September. - Updated: Work includes curb and gutter late in the week, followed by asphalt pavement. - Updated: Pedestrian bridge is OPEN for pedestrian/bicycle traffic as of today (Friday, Sept 4). Minor work will continue throughout the week on landscaping, mosaic walls, and finishing touches. - Final restoration work on Verona Road and frontage roads. Be alert for crews working in the area. - Updated: Light box at the Carling Drive and Allied Drive intersection was lit on Thursday, Sept. 3. Landscaping work will occur throughout the week. - Warwick Way CLOSED, between Doncaster Drive and Danbury Street, until Tuesday (Sept. 8, 2015). - Barrier wall and traffic control signs to be removed and traffic restored next week. - Updated: Midvale Boulevard work on sanitary sewer and water main to start Wednesday, Sept. 9.
