There are just a few days left to have your voice heard regarding sidewalks and
multiuser paths in the design and reconstruction of Lacy Road from The Senior
Center to S. Syene Rd in Fitchburg!!
DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 18th!!
ATTENTION: All area bike riders / walkers/hikers / commuters / baby stroller
pushers/etc..
Just one of the SO many reasons why we need to build this Road just the right
way is to proudly say that "Yes, we have incorporated full accessibility for
the current and future users of local transportation amenities."
The neighborhood is changing as the population increases and People
Demanding
Options
for travel
And recreation.
After reading the fitchburg Star's letters to the editor, Its obvious how badly
it is needed for you (fitchburg residents) to take the opportunity to have your
voice heard.
Rather than allowing a few people sway the direction of this project in a
fashion that simply dismisses or ignores the concerns of the many, PLEASE do
two things:
1-Please take the survey located at the link provided here:
fitchburgwi.gov/2267/Lacy-Road-Reconstruction, and
2-Please write your own "letters to the editor" for the next issue of the
Fitchburg Star showing there is INDEED support for bike lanes, multi use
