On Saturday, October 24, 2015 the service drive to Limnology from Park St
(i.e., the only access to the Lakeshore Path) will be blocked to accommodate a
crane that will be removing boats from the water. If weather conditions
prohibit completion of this project on Saturday, it will be rescheduled for
Sunday, October 24, 2015.

Hoofers is supposed to use flaggers to regulate traffic along the service drive
so that the Lakeshore Path is generally accessible (except when the flagger is
stopping traffic, of course). But since I just learned about this, and there
have been issues in the past, it's possible that they will try to simply close
the service drive.

If anyone on this list discovers that the service drive from Park St to the
Lakeshore Path is completely inaccessible (or if a Hoofer Sailing member tells
you that you cannot proceed down the path (for the duration that the crane is
there), please email me at this address and let me know.
Even better, take pictures of whatever is blocking the service drive and email
them to me.

thanks
