WisDOT will be holding a bunch of public input sessions about the Beltline and what they should do about it. (Whatever that means.)
Tonight is the first session, but there are a seven more through Oct 18, including one at the downtown library on Monday, Oct 16 So take your pick: http://wisconsindot.gov/Documents/projects/by-region/sw/madisonbeltline/pimdates-fall2015flyer.pdf There have been a number of focus groups to give input on pedestrian, bicycle, and transit connections needed as well as the usual "move cars faster" focus. More voices for smarter, more multimodal transportation options are always needed. Hope folks can make it to speak up for other ways to move about besides driving. At the very least, you'll get an idea what they are thinking.
