Can anyone explain why anyone should be concerned about electric mountain bikes on state MTB paths? Is it an issue of them being too powerful, and therefore too fast, which would cause safety concerns? Are they too close to gas-powered "dirt bikes?"
I was hoping the links provided in the e-mail from IMBA would have directly provided information about this, but it appeared to just be a link to their website. I'm uninformed, and therefore extremely ambivalent, on this issue, so some concise clarification of pros and cons would be greatly appreciated. -Rob
