=v= The Supervisor who introduced the legislation is already
out of office, though, as is another pro-bike/pro-transit city
Supervisor who won a seat in the state Senate.  It's probably
worth another try.

=v= The most recent news is that a state Assemblymember, who
represents San Francisco, is trying to change state law to
allow stop-as-yield:

(Wonkish note:  "Assembly" is the state's verison of the House
