Tonight the city of Madison common council will be discussing a permanent diverter on the East Mifflin bike boulevard at E. Mifflin and N. Blair. You have a chance to come and testify for or against. I am hoping Madison can move forward with this. As a biker and B&B owner in the neighborhood, I feel it is important that Madison take these steps in order to promote safe bike routes in my neighborhood. Our only other route is down E. Johnson. Can you imagine sending young children down the E. Johnson street? I cannot. And I have many customers at our B&B that bring bicycles and would enjoy a safer route to the Capitol and beyond.
