Hi all, I've got binc setup in tandem with qmail and vpopmail on freebsd with ms outlook as one of my clients.
all is well except when i move messages from my 'local' mail box to the imap inbox (or any other location). it seems that i lose my 'received date', it gets set to the current date. (my understanding is that Maildir treats mtime as the received date.) on top of that, any new mail i get for some reason gets sorted at the bottom of the list even though it was received sooner than the old messages with munged received dates (this is probably an artifact of outlook). i gave courier a whirl and it handled all the receive date and sorting fine. but it won't let me have peer folders to the inbox which is annoying. anyways, is this a known issue, and/or is there a workaround? cheers, ckw Chris K.
