to answer my own question:

one thing I can think of that could potentially be better about using
sslserver instead of tcpserver + binc's ssl, is that you can use
recordio, or fixcrio still with the sslserver ;)

I'm not trying to sway anyone from using binc's built in ssl stuff, just
trying to stir up some conversation about this, get some opinions.
