I've been running 1.2.1b1 for quite a while and decided it was finally
time to upgrade. ;) I have only installed binc from rpms, and since there
wasn't an rpm for RH9 available, I decided to tackle it from source.
Unfortunately my aptitude with compiling and configuring programs from
source is limited to the number of "How-To's" available from a Google
search and I'm having some trouble getting 1.2.7 Final working.

Binc seems to run fine when I start the box up, and when I use
SquirrelMail to access my Maildir. After I hit it a couple of times with
my Outlook Express 6 client though, it seems to lock up and become
unresponsive. I can still connect to port 143 via telnet, but I only get
the "Escape character is '^]'." and no greeting from binc. I don't seem
to have my logging configured correctly (attempting to use multilog) so I
can't find a log file to help me pinpoint my problem. I did run "ps -e |
grep imap" the last time it hung and saw four instances of bincimap-up
running.

I'm not sure where I've gone wrong, and I'm really not sure where to begin
fixing it. ;) I would appreciate any suggestions, and would be happy to
provide the contents of any binc configuration files. Thanks in advance!
