Interesting. Mutt is the email client that I use. I also use a home-grown IMAP-checker called MacBiff, that uses only the commands LIST, EXAMINE, FETCH, UID FETCH, UID SEARCH, LOGIN, CAPABILITY, LSUB, and LOGOUT. A few of my clients use this software as well, although they use Pine instead of mutt, and don't seem to see the log message.
