The best way to install it, if you're looking for a quick and easy option,
is to install from the RPM's on the website.

I use Webmin for my system admin, as I'm not always at the linux box. But
using this to install the RPM is a godsend, as it plainly tells me what's
missing and what I need to install before I install binc.

You can find this, here at http://www.webmin.com

It's great for linux beginners, and those too lazy to do much else ;)

But the readme that comes with Binc is great for help, as well as the posts
at http://www.lifewithbincimap.org/

You may have a little problem with "checkpassword", you'll need to download
a patch for it. You can find more info on the subject at the above address.

This list is also very helpful, everyone is willing to help!

Good luck,

Steve

Subject: [binc] getting started with bincimap

Hallo
After installing other IMAP solutions ( qvcs, web-cyradm and a
postfix nullmailer ) i hope to find simple(!) install guide for
bincimap ( for postfix, qmail, exim? -- but without ldap) ... I am a
"mail server beginner" and hope to make more experience with other
packages. My need is max. 100 mail account.
Any good step by step howto is available for newcomer?
