Hi, I'm unfamiliar with the protocol of this mail list, so if I violate
anything or this is the wrong place for this, I apologize in advance.

I've got two issues. I wanted to get mail off my limping redhat 8.0 server onto my freebsd server.
So I installed Bincimap and I used thunderbird to copy from one to the other (the linux imap was a
different format and I didn't feel like trying to convert it). This worked great until I tried
copying a directory with 1800+ files in it. All of the messages seemed to have copied, I have 1834
files in 'myfolder/cur' directory, but thunderbird won't show anything in the directory.
Additionally, I have a zero byte called "bincimap-scan-lock" in the "myfolder"
directory. if I delete it, it comes back.

Is this a problem with the client?

Here's part 2: I have been using Opera M2 mail client for the linux IMAP
server. It works great. No matter what I try, I can not get it to view the
folders. It will connect and authenticate, but no folders show.

I went to life with bincimap, but the wiki for opera is blank.

Any idea why thunderbird works and opera doesn't? I've seen archived mail lists where
opera was used, so I assume opera and bincimap are compatible -- possibly a problem with
"Path to IMAP root folder" option?

Thanks,
John
