No.

The limits are in RFC 1034, section 3.1. Each label is 63 characters
maximum and the total length is 255 characters maximum. You can deduce
that names of 127 labels are possible :-)

It is 255 if you put a dot on *both* ends (really, a length octet in
the on-the-wire encoding). 253 if you don't put one on either end.
But the 127 is right ... provided you can find a one-character TLD.
